The West African Vulture Conservation Action Plan (2023–2043) provides a subregional framework to guide 16 West African countries in reducing threats to six threatened vulture species. It focuses especially on belief-based use and trade, poisoning and other forms of killing, with the long-term vision of restoring vulture populations to sustainable levels by 2043.
