2014/035: New Signatories to the UNEP/CMS Raptor MOU

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia (Raptors MOU) is pleased to inform you that:

The Czech Republic and Switzerland signed the CMS Raptors MOU on 5 November 2014 in Quito, Ecuador.

This brings the total number of Signatories to 48.  The Raptors MOU has been in effect since 1 November 2008.
