2013/014: Saker Falcon Task Force - Stakeholders' Workshop

The Coordinating Unit of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia (Raptors MoU) is pleased to announce the date and venue of the Stakeholders’ Workshop to develop the Global Action Plan for the Saker Falcon. It will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 9-12 September 2013.

The Saker Falcon Task Force was established by CMS Resolution 10.28, adopted at the 10th Conference of the Parties (COP10) in November 2011. Its mission is to bring together Range States, Partners and interested parties, to develop a coordinated Global Action Plan, including a management and monitoring system, to conserve the Saker Falcon (Falco cherrug).

Invitations will be issued by the Coordinating Unit in due course.
