2023/002: Amendment: Date, Venue, and Deadlines Concerning the Third Meeting of Signatories to the Raptors MOU

The Coordinating Unit of the of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia (Raptors MOU) wishes to share the following revised information concerning the Third Meeting of Signatories to the Raptors MOU (MOS3).

• Revised date and venue of MOS3

A change in the previously announced Meeting date was required to ensure the largest possible participation by Signatories. The Meeting will take place from 3 to 6 July 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Formal invitations will follow in due course.

Deadlines for the submission of documents and for documents to be made available to MOS3 are established in the MOU Text, as well as in the Rules of Procedure, as adopted at the Second Meeting of Signatories (MOS2, Trondheim, October 2015; see document UNEP/CMS/Raptors/MOS2/Report/Annex I). The deadlines that apply to the revised date of the Meeting are presented in the below table.
