2013/011: Technical Workshop on Migratory Birds Poisoning

The Secretariat of the Convention on Migratory Species is pleased to announce the date and venue of the Technical Workshop on Migratory Birds Poisoning, which will take place in Tunis 27-28 May 2013, at the kind invitation of the Government of Tunisia and thanks to the generous voluntary contribution from Switzerland.

The workshop will bring together the intersessional working group established under Resolution 10.26 on Minimizing the Risk of Poisoning to Migratory Birds, to undertake a detailed assessment of the scope and severity of poisoning for migratory birds and to recommend suitable responses.
